What a beautiful new adventure

We got new neighbors a couple of weeks ago. Two boys. We have a problem with remembering our neighbors names so I will just refer to them as the boys. Our last neighbor we fondly called Kentucky because he was from Kentucky and we couldn't remember his name.

Anywho, The boys told us they were going to garden. Thats fine, Jordan and I thought to ourselves, everyone has a garden.
But we got a little suspicious when they told us they were going to start canning it all.
Another eyebrow was raised when they told us they were going to both sleep in the same room and use the other room as an office because it has such a beautiful view.
Our mouth dropped open a little when they told us they weren't going to go to the singles ward but wanted to come to the family ward. What 20 something male wants to attend a family ward?

One is shy the other is very talkative. The more vocal one told us that he does most of the talking in the relationship because his roommate is so shy. Meanwhile the shy one is standing right there and just smiles and fidgets like he is scared to look at someone other then his roommate.

Their garden hasn't been doing to well lately so they transplanted their vegetables, fruit and herbs into flower pots, that way they can control the amount of sun light they get by moving them around. Brilliant. "Why doesn't everyone do that?" Jordan said. He grew up farming his whole life and was shocked he didn't come up with that idea himself.
They have commented several times on how beautiful my flower garden is. And I reply with a sincere "Thank you" because its nice to know someone notices.

They asked us one time if there was anything in Benson besides Darrell's Appliance Barn. "Nope" Jordan said, "Logan is only like 5 minutes away." They were going to go explore and wanted to know if there were any highlights they should check out. But what they have seen so far has been beautiful.

I don't know how many times they have told us they don't have a dog or loud parties so we don't have to worry about them. ???? I just get a blank look on my face every time.

They are fascinated with the wild life around the place. Mainly the snakes. The one who talks for them thinks they are beautiful and picks them up all the time. He couldn't believe that one bit him. Like any type of wild snake is going to let you fondle it without doing something. He said it stung for awhile but nothing life threating- thank goodness! Jordan just stood there with his hands in his pockets rocking back and forth on the heals of his cowboy boots not knowing if he should respond.

Yes Yes. Life is beautiful!
